Apply using brush, roller or airless spray equipment. Airless spray units will require a minimum 3000 psi pressure, 60 mesh filter and no less than a 0.037 inch tip. No thinning is necessary. For application over very porous surfaces, it is preferable that Flex ThermaCoat be applied in two coats. The first coat should be light, followed by a second heavier coat applied to create a cross hatch pattern. Apply subsequent coats full strength. Do not apply to wet surfaces or at air, surface or product temperatures below 50F.

To get the best efficiency, it is recommended that Flex ThermaCoat be applied in two coats with the second coat being laid down heavier than the first coat. Each gallon of Flex ThermaCoat will provide 75 square feet of  necessary coverage subject to surface conditions and application efficiency. The median thickness coat will provide a 15 mil wet film which will dry to approximately 7 mil dry film. The second heavier coat will provide approximately a 20 mil wet film and 10 mil dry film. Thus the overall effective dry film will be approximately 15-17 mil. Drying time at 70 F and 50% relative humidity is 30 minutes to touch and 4 hours to recoat.

Flex ThermaCoat can be pigmented to any shade with bright white providing the best results for maximum efficiency.
